Protection from the building easterly swell on the western side presented below par snooping in surgey conditions and fantastic weedline diving to 17m. Matt and I managed to knock off 6 terakihi between us, the largest going a kilo and preserving my bonus point. Fortunate favours the bold and despite Crockett's efforts to scare the only two pink mao mao on the entire weedline, I dealt to this beast and hello, we're all even on the points table. Ants managed to spear his first terakihi only to sacrifice it on the surface - throwing it off his spear and feeding a nice big bronzie he discovered a couple of dives later on the weedline. At first sight he thought it was a rather large kingy. I ran into another "rather large kingy" that morphed into a bronzie in deeper water.
