So, BH and I thought we'd try the old happy hunting grounds in the BOI. Will be the last time I wear the 7mm jacket and pants - was warm, and plenty of fish life. Managed to ping four snapper up to 5kg and a cray. BH shot 3 snaps, a trev and a tasty squid - and ran away scared after being charged by two sub-20lbers on a reef. Unfortunately for Dono, the big boy was exactly where he was supposed to be, and after waiting for his head to pop out from behind the weed frons, and ever so carefully placing a shot behind the back of his head - he pulled off. Stink. Great day out and looking forward to summer. Plenty of baitfish in attendance, good signs. - Snoop
