Finally managed to get out for a dive after a few months traveling. Destination was south Curl Curl beach with my Sydney dive buddy Scott (ex South Queensland - going to get up there with him asap) - a nice shore dive about 15 mins from home at Balmoral (quite nice being able to dive that close to home). Vis was about 10m. I was on the annual mission to stock up for my team Christmas party. We had success with some decent stringers of Moorwong (red and blue - the latter aka "Porae" - hidden at the back above), and Aussie Gurnard. I saw some barely legal Kings (legal only 65 cm here) but they didn't come in close enough. Good eating fish - hardly game fish but hey, it's a start. - Kingie
