Fibreglass kayaks must be anchored or stowed on beach as cannot be towed around rocks Paddle - preferably carbon construction over aluminium/glass Paddle lash - clip off your paddle safely Anchor - 20m of rope line and 1m of chain and 1kg grapnel anchor Towing line - 10-15m of towing line with clip from kayak or plat to speargun/dive belt Dive Masks - take two, one for back up Weight Belt - stow inside the kayak, with clip on belt for towing line Fins - stow inside kayak Gloves/Booties - use your gloves when paddling Wetsuit - jacket stored, use long john when paddling, knife on person Speargun - clip off to top of kayak Polespear (two piece) - great back up, stowed Communication - dry bag for cellphone, EPIRB and radio Fish Storage - use fish bag or dive plat/pod (pictured) with frozen bottle to cool Sun Protection - Plastic sun glasses, floppy hat and woolen beanie, light wind breaker for paddling in cooler weather, 3mm top for sun protection in summer, sun block and don't forget the legs on long paddles Nutrition - One Square Meal, plastic bag for pizza! Water - Powerade on top and 2l bottle stowed - dive gear comes to 15kg Camping - Sleeping Bag, Inflatable Mattress, Tent, gas cannister, matches, gas cooker, kettle, pot, mug, spoon, dry bag, clothing, food (dehydrated), knife, glow sticks, portable light, head light, 3l of water - camping gear comes to 10kg All up your lugging up to 50kg of gear when paddling when tenting.
