Rolled 17 and 19kg kings off Napier yesterday. Both head shots and repaired flopper held well. Used my effesub reel gun. Wanted an epic battle but was able to hold the shooting line of the reef with the summer ninja rubber gloves from Carters. Schools of large kahawai, trevally and koheru. Found some 50c sized tarakihi also - pretty cool. It's only a matter of time before a biggie swaggers past with 30kg plus models taken on this reef - Snoop
