Managed to get out for a quick shorey. Water a warm 22 degrees. Down to one 1.5kg weight on the luxurious 3mm Sporasub. Weedline murky but provided enough cover to sneak down on two sizeable boaries playing amongst the weed. Picked up a third after a stalk through weed, a little patience, followed by a broadside shot. Clouds of small Kingies (30cm long) which was pretty cool to see amongst the large schools of koheru, Macks and marauding Kahawai. Found a couple of legions of squid and managed to finally crack the code - landing four and outsmarting (at last) a couple of big ones. Long walk back with all the gear and 16kg of fush - Snoop
